    Term 1 Week 8 (23 feb)

    1) In the line , what did the writer mean by suggesting that " he may found more porcupines than rats ?
    - Rats are cowards that are afraid of everything and Porcupines are the people who are brave and thinks positively .

2)What's worth giving up your life for?
    - For me , it is worth giving up my life for my loved ones . They are the person who give you happiness and the smile in your face everyday . I am nothing without them , they always give me hope and strength . For some other people , giving up their life for the country is what they want to do . They would save others without thinking of the risk they are taking .

    Time : 7:59 PM

    Term 1 Week 7

Qn 1) Why Coral Secondary School forbids students to idle around near their school in their school uniform?
-Coral Secondary School doesn't allow their students to hang around in their school uniform because they places much emphasis on inculcating in their students good habits like using time prudently .

Q2) Do you agree with this rule ?
    - I agree and disagree with this rule .
I agree as the principal wants the students of Coral Secondary School to keep the behaviour without wearing the school uniform . The bad behaviours of the students my reflect on the school . The principal wouldn't want that to happen . The principal wants the students to study and revise at home then loitering around the area . They should spent their time wisely .
I disagree as the children may also need some freedom for themself . Some parents , would give money to their children to buy their food after school . The children might have to buy food for themself after school and go home but yet now they have to go home and change before they could buy their food . It is not fair for the children, maybe there is a time limit for them . Just to buy food .

1)What was Jack Neo's vocation when he was serving his nation ?

-He is an infantry officer and also a quatermaster . Then he got posted to the Army's Music & Drama company . He did part-time acting, emceeing , singing & comedy skits on TV and Live Theatre .

2)"Hard work heads to succeed" To what extend do you agree with this statement ?

-Yes, I do agree . We need to have hard work to succeed in our lives . With hardd work , we reach our goals and whatever we want in our lives . Without hard work , it is not that easy to achieve in our desires and dreams. When we fail in something once especially somthing that we want , we should not give up . Learn from our mistakes and try our best the next time to achieve our dreams . Failure is the Mother of Success. So , Hard work is very important if we want to succeed .
